Abstract:
The blockchain scalability landscape has been the subject of heated debates for nearly a decade. Conventional wisdom about scaling traditional distributed systems is not applicable to blockchains, a new paradigm where trading off important properties like verification cost is unacceptable. This talk will introduce Celestia's sovereign rollups, and how they enable light clients with trust-minimized superpowers.
